Product Features

The Self-Balancing Multistage Pump eliminates traditional axial force balancing devices such as balance discs and balance drums. This advanced design completely avoids rotor locking, shaft damage, component failure, and motor burnout caused by sudden operating condition changes or balancing device failure.Compared with conventional multistage pumps, the Self-Balancing Multistage Pump provides over three times longer trouble-free operating time while significantly reducing maintenance costs and total life-cycle costs.

 

The pump adopts a symmetrical impeller arrangement to effectively eliminate axial thrust. Remaining axial force is supported by a pair of back-to-back angular contact ball bearings, ensuring stable and reliable operation under varying working conditions.The rotor assembly is designed with high-pressure and low-pressure impeller sections arranged symmetrically, allowing axial forces to offset each other automatically. Residual axial thrust caused by operating condition fluctuations, machining tolerance, or sealing effects is absorbed by the bearing support system.Because the Self-Balancing Multistage Pump eliminates balance disc friction loss and balance water return loss, pump efficiency is improved by approximately 5%–14% compared with traditional multistage pumps. Reduced shaft power consumption also provides energy-saving benefits, lowering electricity consumption by around 3%.The suction inlet can be arranged either vertically upward or horizontally, while the discharge outlet is vertically upward for flexible installation requirements.The main structure consists of the suction section, middle section, discharge section, secondary suction section, guide vanes, reverse guide vanes, impellers, shaft, throttling and pressure reduction devices, bearing housing, and transition pipe components.The middle section is connected to the suction and discharge sections using high-strength tie bolts. All sealing surfaces between pump sections use molybdenum disulfide lubricated metal-to-metal hard sealing for reliable high-pressure sealing performance.The rotor assembly includes forward impellers, reverse impellers, throttling and pressure reduction devices, shaft sleeves, and bearing retaining sleeves mounted on the shaft for stable multistage operation.The bearing system adopts a grease-lubricated fixed-floating structure. The drive end uses cylindrical roller bearings, while the non-drive end uses angular contact ball bearings for reliable axial load support.The pump chamber is formed by the suction section, middle section, discharge section, secondary suction section, guide vanes, reverse guide vanes, and transition pipe components to ensure efficient hydraulic performance.The Self-Balancing Multistage Pump is directly driven by an electric motor through either a flexible pin coupling or diaphragm coupling. Viewed from the motor side, the pump rotates clockwise.

Suitable for transporting clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water.

Maximum solid particle content: ≤1.5%

Maximum particle size: ≤1.3 mm

Maximum liquid temperature: ≤105°C

By changing the sealing configuration and adding cooling systems, the pump can also handle hot water, oil, corrosive liquids, or abrasive media with temperatures up to 225°C.
